Book direct to reserve a seat
When you book through our website or app, you'll automatically be assigned a seat based on your preferences. If you join a Lumo service without a seat reservation, we keep a limited number of seats unreserved on each train; please look for the green lights above seats which indicate they are not reserved.Joining the train without a seat reservation
If you need to join our trains without a seat reservation, we have some seats on every train which are not reserved- which will be marked will a green light above the seat, so please look out for these or ask a Customer Experience Ambassador on board for help finding a seat.Bringing luggage onboard
All customers can bring on board a maximum of ONE Small bag OR Holdall and ONE Medium suitcase (63 x 41 x 27cm).
Please note, luggage that exceeds these limits is carried at our discretion and you may be refused travel. A charge will be levied for conveying additional items of luggage, or for excessively large or bulky items. This will not exceed half a full adult standard fare for the entire train route.
LumoEats to your seats
Like to keep those hunger pangs at bay? With just a few clicks on LumoEats, you can pre-order food ready when you jump on a Lumo train, saving you the hassle of rushing around for a sandwich in the station. Just sit back, relax, and have great grub brought directly to your seat. Delightful!
