Lumo National Customer Service Week Competition - Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Lumo, part of FirstGroup plc.
2. Eligibility:
-The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
-Employees of Lumo, FirstGroup, Beamish Museum, Eldon Square, participating hotels, or their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. How to enter:
-To enter, participants must follow the instructions provided on Lumo's official competition post on social media channels (e.g. follow, like, and tell us).
-Entries must be submitted during National Customer Service Week (Monday 6th to Friday 10th October 2025).
4. Prizes:
-1st Prize: Weekend stay in Newcastle-Gateshead for two people, including Lumo train travel and bed & breakfast accommodation. Dates subject to availability.
-2nd Prize: Family ticket (up to four people) to Beamish: the Living Museum of the North, plus Lumo train travel. Dates subject to availability.
-Also: £100 Eldon Square shopping voucher.
-3rd Prize: Train driving simulator experience in Newcastle for one person with a plus one guest, plus return Lumo train travel. Dates subject to availability.
-On-the-spot prizes: Random giveaways of food and drink onboard Lumo services during National Customer Service Week. This is at the discretion of onboard Customer Experience Ambassadors.
-Random refunds: Selected customers travelling with Lumo during the promotional period may receive a refund of their ticket at Lumo's discretion. This will be a minimum of one passenger per day.
5. Winner Selection:
-All valid entries for the top three prize packages will be entered into a random draw.
-Winners will be chosen at random and notified via the contact details provided.
-If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 working days, Lumo reserves the right to reallocate the prize.
6. General Conditions:
-Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
-Train travel is with Lumo only. Tickets cannot be used on other train operators.
-Travel with Lumo is subject to standard conditions of carriage.
-Accommodation, attraction tickets, and simulator experience are all subject to availability and the terms of participating partners.
-Lumo reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition or substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
7. Publicity:
-By entering, winners agree to take part in reasonable publicity associated with the competition (e.g. name or photo used on Lumo social channels).
8. Data Protection:
-Personal data provided will be used only for the administration of this competition and in accordance with Lumo's privacy policy.

-These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
