Cheers! ‘Brewmo’ beer launched for Lumo

Newcastle brewery Full Circle creates exclusive beer for Lumo customers

Published 08 Oct 2026

An award-winning craft brewery has pulled out all the stops to produce a signature beer for customers on Lumo train services.

‘Brewmo’ has been created by Newcastle-based Full Circle Brew Co and will be sold by Lumo ambassadors as part of the wide-range of refreshments provided by the open access operator.

The new regional partnership between the brewery and the train company involved a special taste-testing during which Brewmo was chosen as the ideal name for the exclusive craft beer.

Rachel Firth, Head of Customer Experience at Lumo, said: “We’re delighted to team-up with Full Circle to launch this quality beer especially for our customers.

“It was wonderful to visit the brewery to see at first-hand the care and expertise involved in creating a brand new beer. The taste testing confirmed that Brewmo is a first class product.

“We’re always looking for new ways to enhance our customer experience and I’m sure Brewmo will be a popular addition to our selection of tasty onboard refreshments.”

Ben Cleary, founder of Full Circle Brew Co, commented: “We’re extremely proud that one of our craft beers will be served exclusively on local rail services. We’re confident that Brewmo will be ‘just the ticket’ for Lumo’s customers.”

Full Circle Brew Co was founded in 2019 and has become an established name in the independent brewing sector, with its beers now sold across the UK and exported to 12 countries. The business has also received a number of industry awards.

Lumo customers will be able to purchase cans of Brewmo on the operator’s East Coast route.

Lumo recently scored an impressive 90% overall customer satisfaction score in the Rail Customer Experience Survey (RCXS), placing the operator firmly among the three highest-performing long-distance train operators for the period covering October 2025 to March 2026. Lumo was also top of the league table for value for money.
