With just a few clicks, you can pre-order hot food and sandwiches up to 2 hours before your journey, saving you from rushing around for lunch at the station. Just sit back, relax, and have your scran brought directly to your seat. Our menu includes not only our new food and drinks range but all snacks and drinks available to purchase onboard from our trolley service that comes through each carriage.

Prefer to plan ahead? You’re in luck. For those of you joining Lumo at London King’s Cross or Edinburgh, you can skip the queues at the station, pre-order your meal from our LumoEats menu and collect your order onboard. Simply visit the LumoEats portal up to two hours before your train journey to pre-book food. 

*Please note Challenge 25 is in operation on all Lumo services.

You can choose from a range of sandwiches, pastries, snacks, and drinks, including wraps, buttery croissants, soft drinks, pre-mixed spirit cans, wine, and beer.

Yes, we’re pleased to say 50% of the LumoEats trolley menu is plant-based, meaning that vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, or anyone in-between are catered to when you book food on the train with LumoEats.

Simply order on the LumoEats portal or buy in-carriage train snacks to satisfy your stomach without sacrificing your plant-faced preferences. Perfect!

Once your order has been processed, a confirmation email will be sent your way. You’ll also receive a reminder of your food order before your departure. 

If you need to cancel, simply do so through the email link at least two hours before departure. If your train has been cancelled, we will refund your pre-booked food and drink, although pre-purchased food and drink on the train cannot be exchanged or refunded if the train has departed as planned.

You'll need to visit the LumoEats portal at least two hours before your journey to pre-book food on your train. If you haven't ordered in time you can still purchase from a selection of delicious snacks and drinks from our on-board catering trolley. Sandwiches are not available to purchase from the onboard trolleys.

We know that pre-ordering food and drink doesn’t suit everybody, especially if you’re a ‘last-minute’ type of person. That’s why you can still go with the flow when you buy food onboard any Lumo journey. Simply select from our range of delicious snacks and drinks from our on-board catering trolley. 

We are committed to ensuring everybody can enjoy our delicious food. Therefore, all our allergen information is available to view during the pre-order process and upon request from the onboard crew when your items are delivered to your seat. All onboard trolley stock will have the ingredients printed on the side of the packaging. For any further information, please ask the onboard crew, who will be happy to assist.
